Mothertongue multi-ethnic counselling service (www.mothertongue.org.uk) and the Applied Linguistics Department of Birkbeck College, University of London (www.bbk.ac.uk/linguistics/) are conducting research to explore experiences of multilingual people who have undertaken counselling or psychotherapy. The aim of the research is to better understand the behaviour of people in therapy in order to improve the way in which services are delivered, models of therapy are developed and training curricula pay attention to the specific needs and abilities of multilingual users of psychological therapy and counselling services.
The research is based on an anonymous online survey. We would be very grateful if you could click on this link and complete it:
http://bit.ly/Questionnaire_Patients (If the link does not work, you can copy and paste it into your browser.)
Completing the questionnaire should only take 10 to 15 minutes. Please can you also forward this on to any people you know who might be willing to help in this way?
Thank you so much for your help.
